Plattner Verderame, PC, was founded to provide high quality legal representation to personal injury victims. Along with responsive client service, the firm's legal team focuses on staying on the cutting edge of the law in Arizona. As part of that mandate, Plattner routinely searches out and compiles court decisions that represent interesting points in the law or a sea change in the legal arena. He has authored a monthly column publicizing court decisions in the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association's Advocate magazine since 1985. He lectures annually about new appeals decisions for the State Bar of Arizona and the Arizona Association for Justice.
The firm's personal injury blog is dedicated to providing updates on personal injury news in the Phoenix-Mesa metro area, and across Arizona. As part of that community service, Plattner will be posting highlights of the recent court decisions on the Plattner Verderame personal injury blog. Blogs on March 2010 and April 2010 court highlights are already posted. Recent court decisions have addressed legal issues ranging from spoliation of evidence as a recognized cause of action (sadly, it isn't) to whether employees on out-of-town work trips are "on the job" when they drive to dinner (and hurt someone in a car crash).
Look for future blog postings from Richard Plattner on decisions from the Arizona Supreme Court and the Arizona Court of Appeals as they come out.
